Snow Dusting in April.

Its April 18th and we woke up to snow here in Chicago land. Just a dusting, it melted by midmorning. I was off today so I went out and took some shots. Brrrrrr.... it definitely feels more like March.

Slushy Bird Bath
looks inviting.

  1. Mam nadzieję, że ten spóźniony śnieg nie narobił szkód. Nie chciałabym teraz w swoim ogródku zobaczyć tego białego puchu. Pozdrawiam

  3. Thanks Giga, It was very light and melted quickly, thankfully tulips and daffodils are tough little flowers.

Cat, wow 95 is hot, I won't complain about the cold. Anything above 75 and I get crabby. I love my new mushrooms, the artist who makes them uses real mushrooms as a cast.

  4. Welcome to my world, Fawn. That's how we do Spring here... a little wind, a little rain a little snow and a little sunshine. Keeps us guessing!

  5. Hail is falling as I write this so I can identify. We have had days and days of miserable cold weather.

  6. Carolyn, the last few year we have had unusually warm springs. This year is more what we are use to, all though the snow does not usually stick in April.

Jennifer. we had hail here last night, good thing the spring bulbs are so tough.

  7. Snow is common here in the springtime. Not welcome, but pretty common.
